Role overview:

As a Senior Data Architect within the Global Risk Solutions (GRS) data architecture team, you will play a pivotal leadership role at the forefront of our data and technology transformation initiatives. We are looking for a seasoned architect to co-lead the design and execution of modern data platform implementations that will enhance our enterprise data products. • Enable Solution Delivery Teams:
    • Design a cohesive data architecture and robust data models that guarantee data quality, scalability, reliability, performance, and resilience. This encompasses effective data integration, warehousing, migration, and access strategies.
    • Develop conceptual and logical context diagrams alongside comprehensive narratives to illustrate the interactions of enterprise, domain, and segment platforms.
    • Present architectural runways during Program Increments, guiding solution delivery teams through the implementation process.
    • Provide mentorship and education on data solution architecture to all stakeholders engaged in GRS data initiatives.

  • Govern Solutions for Evolving Business Needs:
    • Ensure solutions adhere to established enterprise patterns and address any needs for the evolution of these patterns.
    • Document and communicate architectural decision records to track solution enablement and identify technical debt.
    • Conduct regular reviews of data domain platforms and products to monitor evolving risks, escalating costs, and the current business value.
    • Champion data governance best practices to ensure compliance in solution designs.

  • Steer Innovation:
    • Collaborate with enterprise teams to evaluate new data technologies, frameworks, and tools, ensuring we stay current with industry trends.
    • Identify emerging trends and patterns that can be leveraged to improve solutions within Liberty Mutual's ecosystem.
    • Partner with technology vendors to understand product capabilities and propose use cases for new features relevant to Liberty Mutual implementations.
