As a Supervisor, you are a critical role in the successful facility, including developing a team culture focused on employee engagement and development, and operational execution. The Supervisor is ultimately accountable for every aspect of the manufacturing area - from hiring, training, developing, and managing the people, developing and executing the plan, implementing and improving the processes, to maximizing performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs – including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost).

This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Operations team in Duncan, SC and will be an on-site role. 

What you will do:

• Supervisory responsibilities include: Management of associates including timecards, performance reviews, talent assessment, as well as other management activities as required at Cytiva.  
• Safety: Drive proactive safety observations and 4E.
• Quality: Confirm quality is evident in daily work – delivering high quality product that meets all customer and quality specifications .
• Delivery: Accountable for daily schedule meeting rate and On-Time Delivery (OTD) requirements.
• Owns the continuous improvement (DBS) culture for the value stream

Who you are:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience including involvement and knowledge of operations and/or supply chain, planning, receiving, shipping, and material flow 
• Computer literacy – MS Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.) & ERP Systems (SAP a plus) 
• Experience in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA, or otherwise)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience of leading high performance teams on a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of business systems, engineering, manufacturing, and financial systems.
• Familiarity leading and facilitating lean manufacturing Kaizen events (Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Standard Work, etc.)
