Job Overview:
The Inside Sales Specialist position involves supporting BD's UCC HomeCare products with physicians, case managers, clinicians, rehabilitation & specialty accounts, and other key decision makers, as directed. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with clinicians to secure new and reorder doctor's orders (Rx) and referrals, as well as expanding the reach/use of the LINK Online portal.
The Inside Sales Specialist's main responsibilities include reaching out to physicians, case managers, clinicians, rehabilitation & specialty accounts, and other key decision makers to support BD's UCC HomeCare products. They will work closely with clinicians to secure new and reorder doctor's orders (Rx) and referrals, as well as expanding the reach/use of the LINK Online portal.
The successful candidate should have excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clinicians regularly. They should also possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working with technology.
Overall, the Inside Sales Specialist position plays a critical role in supporting BD's UCC HomeCare products and expanding their reach/use through securing new and reorder doctor's orders (Rx) and referrals, as well as expanding the reach/use of the LINK Online portal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Drive sales revenue to exceed established priorities and revenue targets within territory assigned accounts.
- Builds and maintains business relationships in assigned accounts.
- Performs virtual product demonstrations, customer education and in-service as required or requested. This includes in-service for products and electronic platforms (i.e. HCP electronic scripts portal “LINK Online”)
- Following monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives designed to meet and exceed territory revenue targets
- Work collaboratively within the patient care PODs consisting of: Territory Managers, Clinical Managers, Care Coordinators, Dedicated Documentation Coordinator and regional supervisors
- Develop clinical knowledge as it relates to UCC product lines & services
- Deliver excellence in territory management, account nurturing and selling acumen (urology, ostomy, wound, etc.)
- Control expenses within territory budgets and manage those resources per policy
- Develops and maintains accurate customer and account files, both written and electronic (outlook, salesforce.com etc.)
- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety, product quality and regulatory compliance by adhering to BD Policies and all other documented quality processes and procedures (i.e. leveraging recorded line).
- Complete requested and required administrative duties in a timely manner including call reports, monthly results report and additional items as assigned.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
- Completes and processes UCC reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.
- Execute sales calls on a continuous basis, leading sales time effectively, based on sales goals presented by leadership.
- Inform supervisor of significant market changes and competitive activity.
