Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Site - Multiple Shifts in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with staff, visitors, and partners, assisting with access control and responding promptly to incidents or requests for assistance. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and support operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
