Senior Technical Writer, Agentforce CX

Office hybrid in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA

The Content Experience (CX) department is an industry-leading group of award-winning content curators. Technical writers at Salesforce produce documentation and content experiences that help customers succeed with Salesforce. We work closely with other writers, product managers, engineers, UX and research teams in an Agile development environment to deeply understand our industry and customers. CX creates innovative content experiences through in-app assistance, help, guides, interactive training, and videos for administrators, users, and developers. We’re passionate about innovating and developing solution-oriented content strategies that deliver the right content, the right way, at the right time.

But enough about us! Let’s talk about you. 

We’re looking for a motivated, experienced technical communications professional who is excited to join our Agentforce CX team and support content for the Agentforce and AI platform. As part of our extended leadership team, you develop a clear view of the broader AI program. You will focus on delivering internal communication campaigns that enable learning about the AI platform, serve as a scrumleader for our content team, and create external content for new features as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience documenting software for technical audiences. (We are also open to career changers with solid work history and excellent writing skills, who are comfortable with technical concepts.)

• Experience crafting effective communication campaigns.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to define and run operational processes for themselves and others.

• Ability to write clean, concise, and approachable content.

• Ability to quickly learn complex technologies.

• High standards of quality and attention to detail.

• Excellent problem solver.

• Strong advocate for the customer.

• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple deliverables within tight deadlines.

• Experience with measuring the success of their content.

• Learner’s mindset and comfort with working in a fast-paced environment.

• A related technical degree required.

Desired Experience/Skills:

• Agile scrumleader certification and experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.

• Experience with source control software such as Perforce or Git.

• Experience with XML-based authoring tools such as Oxygen.

• Knowledge of DITA and structured authoring.
