Field Machinist

Contract Field Machinist positions to support outage work at various sites.

Training is done at Westinghouse Manning,South Carolina

 

• A minimum of two (2) years documented work experience with field machining
• Demonstrated use of portable: drilling, boring, turning, grinding operations as a minimum. CNC operated equipment preferred
• Three (3) years of work experience in a machine shop maybe substituted providing that verification demonstrates the set up and use of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and precision grinding
• Five (5) years of verifiable work experience in the trade (Millwright or Pipe fitter) may also be substituted
• Have strong mechanical aptitude, and experience with precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read drawings, reference manuals, and assembly instruction guides
• Shift work, including overtime, may be required (am/pm)
• Personnel must pass training and be qualified to be assigned to the project
• Valid passport 
• Required to successfully complete background check, drug and alcohol screenings
• Observe and adhere to the appropriate industrial safety and health programs
• This is a contract opportunity
