Join our dynamic team as a Cost Accounting Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in driving financial excellence and operational efficiency within our factory. We are committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that empowers our employees to thrive.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted co-pilot to the Factory Controller, providing financial leadership and strategic insights to the factory leadership team.
  • Supply accurate and timely financial data, analysis, and recommended actions to identify and correct inefficient operations, resulting in lower operating costs.
  • Ensure sound costing practices in adherence to financial legal requirements and NAS.
  • Develop and mentor a team of direct reports, driving cost reduction initiatives and utilizing Nestle tools.
  • Challenge assumptions and drive cost improvement opportunities within the factory.
  • Partner with Engineering to manage CAPEX project costs and capitalizations.
  • Compile and report actuals, oversee period-end close, and promote data ownership at the source.
  • Participate in business planning, prepare and coordinate the factory budget, and perform revisions or simulations as needed.
  • Ensure full transparency of costs and financial impact on major or strategic decisions.

Key Outputs:

  • Deliver cash savings targets by driving, supporting, and validating cost initiatives within the factory.
  • Develop the Finance team to be key contributors and leaders in projects and operational reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with Nestle financial policies, accounting standards, and costing standards.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and planning skills.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership
