The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.This position will support Treasury Sales officers with KYC responsibilities to ensure regulatory compliance.
Duties include:
Create customer profiles with accurate, validated information for prospective and existing customers/clients
Validate information provided by Sales team to ensure Data Quality
Ensure quality and reporting meets Compliance and Audit expectations based on policies and procedures documented
Responsibilities:
Data Accuracy: Responsible for creating records in internal bank system (ESB) from information provided by the Sales team as well as performing due diligence required from formation of documents and/or approved third party sources i.e. web portals and other sites.
Key Data Element (KDE) Management: Validate the accuracy of customer KDEs, including obtaining remediation of any errors prior to onboarding the client, including a manual review of the accuracy between the source documentation and booking instructions and a qualitative review of the appropriateness of the data selected for each KDE. Utilize 3rd party data sources to also validate accuracy of customer key data.
Data Reporting: Complete regular reporting spreadsheets created in order to keep track of volumes and accuracy of process. Monitor and provide reporting on Data Accuracy provided by Sales team vs. validated data for customer KDEs. Investigate, evaluate and determine root cause analysis. Provide feedback and recommendations as to where the most differences appear to build and perform additional training for the Sales team.
Data Management: Assist with performing ongoing monitoring of the accuracy of existing customer’s key data elements. Identify and advise management of risks/trends in terms of achieving and maintaining satisfactory data accuracy. Assist with clean-up efforts to remediate key data where required and ensure compliance with all BSA Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of policies related to BSA/AML, CIP/CDD and FinCEN are required.
- Level I: 2+ years of general onboarding experience as well as data quality experience with knowledge and skills in commercial deposits and CIP/CDD.
- Basic knowledge of ESB, RCIF, FileNet, PCCS and bank core systems understanding is preferred.
- Office 365 Suite of products proficiency required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to effectively partner and collaborate
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
Education:
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
The typical base pay range for this role is between $72K - $82K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
