Job Description:

Business Operations

The Manager of Business Operations will oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of the organization to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic objectives. This role involves managing cross-functional processes, driving operational excellence, and leading initiatives to improve organizational performance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee business operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
    • Develop and implement best practices, frameworks, and processes to streamline operations.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
    • Establish performance metrics and ensure the team meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
    • Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Collaborate with leadership to plan and manage budgets for projects and operations.
    • Allocate resources effectively to optimize performance and achieve project goals.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Collect, analyze, and present operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve decision-making and strategy execution.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with overarching business objectives.
    • Collaborate with teams to track progress, identify risks, and implement solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Serve as the primary liaison between departments to improve communication and coordination.
    • Work closely with senior leadership, sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to align efforts and achieve company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in business operations, management, or related roles.
    • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and leading high-performing teams.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
    • Proficiency in business management tools (such as CRM, ERP, and project management software).
  • Other Qualities:
    • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
    • Strategic thinker with a focus on operational and financial performance.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel for meetings, conferences, or project oversight.
  • May require flexibility to work across time zones depending on the team and project needs.

The likely salary range for this position is $112,840 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
