The Role:As the Cybersecurity Business Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the cybersecurity leadership team in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring effective communication, and facilitating operational excellence within the cybersecurity organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Information Security Officer and Cybersecurity leadership team, providing high-level support and coordination across various functions. The Role:As the Cybersecurity Business Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the cybersecurity leadership team in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring effective communication, and facilitating operational excellence within the cybersecurity organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Information Security Officer and Cybersecurity leadership team, providing high-level support and coordination across various functions. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CISO and Cybersecurity leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives and objectives.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate and facilitate the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Communications and Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and communications on behalf of the CISO and Cybersecurity leadership team.
- Serve as a liaison between the cybersecurity organization and other business units, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and support for cybersecurity initiatives.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive operational efficiency within the cybersecurity organization by identifying areas for improvement and implementing streamlined processes.
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
- Program Management and Governance:
- Assist in the development and management of the cybersecurity budget, including financial planning and resource allocation.
- Establish and maintain governance structures, including regular reporting and review mechanisms, to ensure adherence to cybersecurity objectives.
- Team Support and Development:
- Provide support to the cybersecurity leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the cybersecurity organization.
- Support talent management initiatives, such as recruitment, onboarding, and professional development programs.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the cybersecurity field is a MUST HAVE. Must have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
- Proven experience in a leadership or strategic support role within a cybersecurity organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry frameworks and standards, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity risk management, governance, and compliance practices.
