Manual QA Consultant

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of STB and OTT platforms, including functional, UI, and regression testing.
• Validate firmware updates, integrations, and application behavior across multiple environments.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports in alignment with project requirements.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and clients to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.
• Engage directly with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure smooth delivery of QA milestones.
• Support firmware validation and perform compatibility checks across devices and versions.
• Contribute to QA process improvement and best practices within the project team.

Skills

• Degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science or similar areas
• 3+ of experience in Manual Testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking tools.
• Good knowledge of Firmware testing and device-level validations.
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
