The Product Owner Role

We are looking for a Product Owner for one of our teams. You will shape the team’s roadmap by interfacing between our users (internal and/or external) and the development teams.

Key Activities

Product:

• Collect, analyze and refine user needs
• Feed and prioritize team’s backlog
• Ensure regular collection of users feedbacks
• Collaborate with the technical teams to ensure the delivery of the expected functionalities (Backlog refinement, planning pokers...);
• Proceed to the delivery of the product with the team (communication on the improvements, Sprint review contribution, …);
• Provide visibility on upcoming features
• Contribute to the adaptation and improvement of the product documentation.

Communication / interaction

• Communicate on product needs, bring them up to the team, and prioritize them;
• Participate, from time to time, in meetings with prospects, customers, internal users, ..
• Document new versions and changes
• Active contribution to the PO Sync. meeting
• Participate and contribute to transversal regular meetings (Sales Engineer, Marketing, ..) 

Desired Background and Skills

Education

• Master’s degree in engineering

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in product development (agile / scrum) and/or project management

Skills

• Good knowledge and interest in the fundamentals of IT technologies and Data Driven products;
• Technical aptitude with interest and understanding of Data Driven products
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Even better

• Finance skills or previous experience within a bank may be a plus;
• Knowledge of many agile methods and rituals (Scrum / Kanban / Scrumban / SAFe) may also be a plus.
