About the role

The Integration Analyst is part of the IT team and is responsible for the operation of the B2B supply chain transactions and supporting data feeds into and out of GOVX systems. The Integration Analyst is the first technical contact at GOVX that interfaces with new vendors. This role requires a detail-oriented self-starter that can work effectively with our Partner Onboarding Manager owning multiple projects at any given time. The Integration Analyst configures data mapping file templates, arranges testing with vendors, performs quality assurance testing, validation and launch activities for all vendor integration implementations.

The Integration Analyst is responsible for supporting the Partner Onboarding Manager, but also owns the success of all active integrations. The responsibilities for this role include establishing new integration setups, monitoring existing integrations, maintaining configurations, and recommending improvements to software and processes. You will also partner with data analysts to develop reporting and monitoring needed to make sure all integrations are flowing correctly. You will also partner closely with fulfillment and the contact center to trouble shoot data mapping issues, integration breakdowns and challenges as they come up. It is your responsibility to make sure that inventory feeds are accurate and available across all GOVX shop partners and to ensure they are getting their orders and GOVX is receiving updates, including tracking, in a timely manner.

This position reports to the IT Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with trading partners to establish trading relationships that include document specifications and schedules.
  • Establish trading partner relationships in a test environment and perform successful tests on all trading documents with partners.
  • Create and maintain SFTP user and trading folder setups for direct trading partners.
  • Leverage system architecture knowledge to monitor, benchmark, and troubleshoot integrations with existing trading partners and promptly resolve production issues.
  • Provide regular status reports on new trading partner setups to the Partner Onboarding Manager noting any delays.
  • Provides advice and education to internal and external contacts regarding GOVX EDI and other electronic trading capabilities and guidelines.
  • Recommend enhancements to the technical architecture and processes to create business efficiencies, reduce manual tasks, and improve monitoring of active integrations.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory advice results, noting and resolving exceptions in order to reduce order cancellations.
  • Support production environment, as necessary; and be available on call to handle any critical issues. Respond to transaction exceptions within a day of transaction.
  • Enhance documentation to better enable sellers to implement all forms of integrations in a timely manner.
  • Complete other IT related duties as assigned by Manager.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position provides oversight and mentoring.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of business supply chain with emphasis on purchase order, inventory, and shipping related EDI transactions such as 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, etc.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written communication, email etiquette, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage projects through to completion quickly.
  • Experience working cross functionally.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects without compromising results.


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years working with EDI integrations.
  • Ability to communicate in supply chain and EDI terminology with internal customers and trading partners.
  • Experience with ERP applications and workflows.
  • Experience working with CSV, JSON, FLAT FILE formats.
  • Experience working with FTP, SFTP and AS2 protocols.
