Job Summary and Responsibilities

Circet USA is a premier technology infrastructure design, build, and maintain partner. The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead and execute accurate and competitive cost estimates for Outside Plant telecommunications projects. This role requires a strong understanding of OSP construction and engineering services. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to assess project requirements and ensure that estimates are aligned with project goals and client expectations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned:

• Leadership skills
• Ability to lead and drive estimation practices and procedures across the organization
• Manage a small team of estimators to support Circet USA business development efforts

 

• Cost estimation:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for OSP projects including labor, materials, equipment, and overheads
• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to determine requirements
• Provide estimates based on unit pricing, historical data, and project-specific conditions
• Site Assessments:
• Collaborate with field teams and gather insights on potential obstacles or unique requirements

 

• ProjectPlanning & Collaboration:
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align project scopes and requirements
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to review project scopes and address any concerns

 

• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, project bids, and relevant documentation
• Prepare and present cost reports, risk assessments, and value engineering suggestions
• Keep updated with industry standards, codes, and technological advancements.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 

• Strong undersgtanding of OSP construction and engineering services
• Proficiency with estimation software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as needed

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent; or 5 plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant technical experience and understanding is required. Field experience in OSP design, build, maintenance services desirable.
