About the Role: We’re seeking a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead the HR strategy for our Corporate Functions – including Finance, Legal, IT, Marketing, and Strategy. This high-impact role reports into the executive HR leadership team and will play a critical role in shaping our talent agenda across a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment.
As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you’ll drive initiatives that strengthen performance, boost engagement, and build leadership capabilities—ensuring our HR practices are future-ready and aligned to business needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders across Shared Services, aligning talent strategies with functional and enterprise priorities.
- Lead the design and implementation of HR programs across the employee lifecycle—including onboarding, performance management, engagement, and development.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
- Leverage workforce data and insights to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
- Drive annual HR processes, including performance reviews, compensation planning, and promotion cycles.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen leadership development, succession planning, and readiness.
- Champion a positive employee experience and support efforts around culture, accountability, and inclusion.
- Develop and implement policies, frameworks, and tools to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability across corporate teams.
- Lead and mentor HR team members and/or manage cross-functional projects as needed.
- Travel up to 20–30%, depending on business needs.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a significant exposure to corporate functions or shared services environments.
- 5+ years in an HR leadership role with experience influencing executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success driving HR programs in fast-paced, evolving organizations.
- Expertise in employee relations, organizational effectiveness, talent planning, and performance management.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, Excel, and people analytics tools.
Even Better If:
- Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Business Administration.
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
- Experience working in highly regulated or multi-state industries—cannabis or CPG preferred.
- Familiarity with modern HR technology and scalable solutions for growing organizations.
Connecticut Hiring Range$170,000—$190,000 USD
