Job Responsibilities

• Define and support product development activities while adopting industry best practices and tools
• Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams, including build specifications and architecture diagrams
• Review and understand the business requirements and translate them into a viable integration architecture
• Prepare integration analysis, proof-of-concepts, cost analysis for review and decision-making and technology purchases
• Support performance test planning to validate the system design and architecture for scalability across platforms
• Interact with various stakeholders from the management and peer teams to provide clarity on system integration
• Identify risks and conduct mitigation action planning
• Review the work of other developers to ensure standards and best practices are used
• Gain in-depth knowledge of all functional workflows of the software products
• Identify flaws within the existing design in terms of performance or security and design

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 10 years of experience as a software engineer or architect
• At least 5 years of experience deploying software solutions into AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms
• At least 5 years of experience deploying software in a on premise data center
• At least 5 years of experience working with Elasticsearch or other open search technologies
• High energy, proactive and approachable personality who enjoys solving diverse problems
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to positively interact with all members of development team and product teams

• Self-starter capable of working on small teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical and organizational skills; strong deductive reasoning
• Ability to multi-task and work in separate projects in a fast paced & dynamic environment and tight timelines

Candidates based in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York or Washington:

The Compensation range for this role is 139,802.40 - 279,604.80 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
