Employment Type: Full-time | Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM

Are you a hands-on leader with strong maintenance experience in residential properties? Join Schochet, a trusted name in property management for over 50 years, and take the lead at Stearns Apartments, a 140-unit affordable housing community with 4 commercial spaces in the heart of Boston.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the maintenance team
• Prioritize and manage work orders, unit turnovers, and service requests
• Conduct regular property inspections and preventative maintenance
• Coordinate vendors and service contracts
• Maintain inventory and ensure safety compliance
• Participate in rotating on-call/emergency response

What You Bring:

• 3–5 years of residential maintenance + supervisory experience
• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required
• Must live within 30 minutes of Boston

Compensation & Perks:

• Competitive salary
• $150 premium paid for all week’s that you are on-call, additionally you are paid a time and a half rate for any emergency calls plus travel time.
