Science Teacher for Torrington High School. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid State of Connecticut teaching certificate for any CT Science Endorsement appropriate for grades 9-12. Preference will be given to candidates who hold endorsements in Chemistry and/or Biology, but all Science certified educators are encouraged to apply.
The Science Teacher at Torrington High School is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction in one or more scientific disciplines such as biology and/or chemistry. They design and implement laboratory experiences, assess student learning, and promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world application of scientific concepts.
