Job Overview:

As a Wealth Management Intern, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and delivery of comprehensive services such as financial planning, investment management, and a range of financial solutions aimed at helping individuals and families build, protect, and transfer their wealth. You will gain exposure to investment advice, retirement and estate planning, tax strategies, risk management, business operations, process improvement, and strategic planning within a dynamic financial environment. Throughout the program, you will collaborate closely with senior team members, contribute to various initiatives, and help enhance the overall effectiveness and success of the department.

Internship opportunities may include hands-on experience in areas such as Strategy and Analytics, Trading, Business Management, Strategic Partners, Overlay, Operations, Trust Officer, and Financial Planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain immediate exposure to the financial world and an opportunity to work alongside Investment Analysts with a range of experiences.

  • Receive training programs that introduce interns to the firm and familiarizes them with our data, research resources, client work, and investment staff

  • Contributing to projects that include: asset class research, analyzing investment managers’ portfolios, data retention process improvements, and client reporting improvements.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate degree program with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027

  • 3.3 GPA minimum

  • Interest in the financial services industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Offer is contingent upon successful background screening and agreement to be local to the Fort Mill, SC or San Diego, CA location

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to organize and analyze data

  • Organization and strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Creative, analytical and strategic thinker

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Summer Internship Schedule:

  • Full-time position for 10 weeks in the summer of 2026; Monday through Friday, working 40 hours a week during business operating hours
