Position Overview
As Director, Information Governance, Product you will focus on developing advisory, migration and managed service-related offerings with Epiq’s Information Governance practice. This includes maturing existing offers and collaborating on new product launches and aligning of offers to the market, in line with the competitive landscape and executing our go to market strategy. In collaboration with marketing and sales, ensuring that product/offerings launches are performed effectively and driving internal and external messaging throughout the product/offering lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance solutions around Data Privacy, Data Security, Managed Services, Compliant Cloud Migrations, Data Lifecycle Management, Legal Hold, eDiscovery, and AI readiness, including developing pricing, competitive intelligence research, market messaging, delivery readiness framework design and support planning.
- Design solution-based offerings packaging existing offerings to meet client challenges and increase average deal size.
- Understand IG use cases and business needs to define solutions that leverage Microsoft 365 (M365) Purview and other 3rd party tools to improve operational efficiency, both internally and externally for Epiq’s clients.
- Develop insights on customer, business, and technical perspectives from a variety of sources, and use them to define a product/service vision.
- Evaluate competitive landscape and total addressable market for IG services.
- Participate in conversations with prospects and clients to discuss legal, compliance and IT challenges and better understand the market related to implementing IG solutions.
- Use, define, and improve methodologies, processes, and standards to meet the expected product/service outcomes.
- Identify potential roadblocks and possible mitigation steps to implement native M365 Purview capabilities and determine where 3rd party tools may be needed.
- Assist with thought leadership activities internally within the practice and externally to various geographies where Epiq markets its services.
- Evaluate 3rd party tools to see how they may enhance IG offerings.
- Stay up to date on the latest IG trends and technologies.
- Collaborating with Epiq and Microsoft Sales teams to address IG use cases, compliance and regulatory issues and define success criteria for M365 solutions.
- Collaborate with Marketing to assist with defining IG offerings and developing marketing collateral. Act as the subject matter expert for information governance for Epiq Marketing and provide Epiq Marketing with necessary content so that Epiq Marketing can create proper messaging and sales assets to support our Information Governance business and GTM.
- Collaborate with Epiq Strategic Alliances to provide product/offering content so that Epiq Strategic Alliances can develop “better together” sales/GTM assets that align with Epiq Information Governance messaging.
- Facilitate solution design for internal and external service delivery resources to execute.
- Contribute to strategic business initiatives within the Information Governance practice.
- Contribute to product assessments for emerging technology platforms and new service offerings.
- Perform administrative tasks that support the practice’s objectives, as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Characteristics
- 6+ years of experience in services related product management experience in the legal and compliance space.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships and delivering results in cross-group projects
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience in preparing and delivering client facing documentation, presentations and marketing materials.
- Independent direction for daily tasks.
- Collaborative mindset and service orientation.
- Experience interfacing and collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
