What You’ll Do
• Travel 3–6 days per week to customer sites to investigate claims and perform on site repairs on Sauder products.
• Independently manage travel, navigate routes, and represent the company professionally in the field.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Communicate effectively with customers, dealers, and internal teams to resolve concerns and restore goodwill.
• Support service operations by completing administrative tasks and taking on additional assigned projects.

What You’ll Bring
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools, plus the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to travel frequently and independently.
• Problem solving skills with the ability to adapt, improvise, and work through challenges in the field.
• Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to meet required immunizations for hospital access.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, reach, walk, and stand for long periods.
• Repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs. to table height; occasional heavier lifting.
• Perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, grasping, and repetitive motions for detailed repairs.
• Drive for extended periods and move heavy furniture multiple times as part of daily work.
• Work primarily indoors and follow Sauder safety practices
