SUMMARY:
As a Sr. Account Executive, for the US Northwest, you are responsible for the generation of revenue to an assigned budget of all Plasma-Therm products and services within markup guidelines and operating budgets throughout this territory. You will be encouraged to continually uncover new prospects, develop new opportunities with current customers, and manage account relationships through selling the best solution to each one.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Thoroughly understanding the problem to solve for the customer and determine how we can be the best solution to the problem.
- Learn the decision-making process for each prospect and work to have depth of contact with all buying influences.
- Be an orchestrator on behalf of the prospect, helping them tap into the Plasma-Therm team in such a way that we earn their trust and win their business.
- Identify and call on key decision-makers, including management representatives, to share value-add proposals.
- Develops and documents all necessary aspects of complex selling factors related to the prospective customer’s needs, including the identification of and ability to overcome any customer concerns.
- Generates go to market plans that generate additional revenue opportunities
- Develops and implements account selling strategies and tactics to coordinate necessary corporate resources resulting in addressing and overcoming customer concerns or objections
- Maintains proficiency in both technical and business aspects of purchase discussions including process specifications, hardware configurations terms and conditions
- Develops, maintains, and regularly submits current sales information, including forecasts, CRM use, account profiles, sample requests, and trip reports
- Ensures cost-effective time and territory management within company policies to maximize direct contact with existing and prospective customers
- Create opportunities from untapped market potential by proactively building the pipeline with outbound sales activity.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other related discipline
and
- Minimum of six years of related selling and account management experience. Strong preference with plasma processing or thin-film equipment experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, major credit card (for business travel), and passport.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to interpret technical journals and papers, and other related material
- Ability to communicate effectively interdepartmentally and externally with customers, and other contacts such as vendors
- Ability to develop and track sales cycle activities (forecasting)
- Complex technical capital equipment knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment knowledge preferred
- Ability to compile technical reports and present technical material to internal and external groups
- Ability to travel extensively to support Sales activities for new or prospective business
- Must have a working knowledge of current required computer skills used in a networked or home office environment
- Ability to negotiate technical aspects of purchase (including process specifications, hardware configurations, and commercial terms and conditions)
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The normal work environment is typical of a business office, manufacturing laboratory, and support areas such as production, test, and stockroom. Work is performed at individual customer sites as required.
- The incumbent is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, touch, see, and hear. The incumbent may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- While performing the regular duties of the position, the incumbent may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. The incumbent must be able to wear safety equipment and follow safety instructions. Must be able to work on the production floor, the laboratory in the field, or at customer site without physical impediments. Vision correctable to 20/20 and the ability to hear with corrective devices.
