Join our Military Avionics & Helicopters Flight Management Applications team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and contribute to the design and development of flight management software applications in an agile environment. What YOU will do:

• You will serve as a Senior Project/Systems Engineer, guiding the development and integration of flight management and control systems.
• You will manage high-visibility projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• You will provide daily support to cross-functional teams, driving development efforts and ensuring seamless communication and documentation.
• You will identify risks and opportunities, devising strategies to mitigate challenges and capitalize on efficiencies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
• Proven communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective communication across various levels of the organization.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong technical skills in avionics, particularly in systems development and software testing.
• Experience with AGILE development methodologies.
• Knowledge of ARP4754 and DO-178 certification processes.
• Familiarity with JIRA and project management tools.
