Your Career

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sr. Staff IT Software Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of our next-generation scalable services and applications. Leveraging advanced technologies such as Python, Django, FastAPI, ReactJS, GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes within the Google Cloud Platform, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our architecture. This is not just a technical role; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our software engineering practices and mentor the next wave of engineering talent.

As a Sr. Staff Engineer, you will be deeply involved in architectural discussions and decision-making processes, ensuring our solutions are not only innovative but also resilient and scalable. Your passion for continuous learning and collaboration will be essential as you work cross-functionally to deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of high-quality software assets
• Deliver exceptional code with meticulous attention to detail
• Take a lead role in solution design, working closely with architects to create innovative, scalable architectures
• Mentor, coach, and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
• Influence and guide the engineering team in adopting best practices and new technologies

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Must have strong 8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Strong 8 years of Exp in Python, utilizing Django or FastAPI to build fault-tolerant microservice/web architectures
• Strong Expertise in JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, or SASS
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable solutions leveraging both relational and NoSQL databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in Docker or similar container management tooling
• Experience working with Kubernetes is required
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience required
• Must be local in SF Bay area to be onsite.
