This can be done up to 90% remotely with possibility to work from office in Wroclaw.
YOUR ROLE:
We are a cutting-edge organization seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Junior Patent Documentation Specialist. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in patent filings, showcasing your expertise in the preparation and filing of patent applications, including direct national, PCT (International) applications, national stage applications, and EP validations.
What You'll do:
- Assist in preparing and filing patent applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage formal documents and respond to invitations to correct formal defects
- Conduct docketing activities, reviewing and monitoring incoming domestic correspondence
- Utilize Intelectual Property management systems to upload correspondence and track deadlines
- Support the billing and payment process, ensuring seamless financial operations
- Handle reference management and contribute to the generation of IDS
- Create and update invention and patent records
- Provide valuable backup support to team members when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team
WHO YOU ARE:
We are looking for a talented individual with:
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- A team player with the ability to thrive in a changing work environment
- Strong multitasking skills to meet the demands of a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ideally 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience
- Formal training in patent paralegal and/or administrative support, or professional experience in a patent law firm or corporate patent department, preferably in an international environment
- Experience with IP management software and strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoin
