Salary Range: $73,000-83,000

POSITION SUMMARY: The Site Superintendent is responsible for assigning and managing day-to-day work, overseeing field personnel, and coordinating, overseeing and documenting the quality control program field projects as well as identifying, analyzing and developing improvements in productivity, client relationships, customer service, quality, and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all operations on the jobsite.
  • Responsible for managing all craft workers to include approving timecards, performing annual reviews, ensuring all trainings are completed.
  • Responsible for coordinating, overseeing and documenting the quality control program on field projects as well as identifying, analyzing and developing improvements in productivity, client relationships, customer service, quality and safety.
  • Supervise craft workers assigned to an area of responsibility.
  • Plan the work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
  • Assign work daily for all craft workers, ensuring all work is being completed on time in accordance with the PWS.
  • Ensure all craft workers are completing and returning all required reporting
  • Responsible for ordering all parts/materials required for maintenance and repairs/replacements
  • Identifying subcontractors needed to complete work when not able to be performed with craft workers
  • Manage onsite meetings and distribute schedule updates and meeting minutes.
  • Complete daily documentation requirements including reports and photos.
  • Monitor work performance and productivity of trades to ensure project specifications, procedures, quality, and safety requirements are maintained.
  • Advise Project Management of potential problems, work interference, and schedule difficulties; assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.
  • Maintain liaison with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. support project activities and schedule.
  • Gather and submit required submittals and maintain submittal registry when required
  • Check material and equipment received against approved submittals when required.
  • Create Daily QC report and save within project files
  • Document work progress on site and quality control issues via job notes, photos and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain QC Deficiency log. Issue deficiency notifications.
  • Maintain red-line or as-builts on project site when applicable.
