The Division of Ophthalmology at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware in Wilmington, is actively recruiting a casual fellowship-trained BC/BE pediatric ophthalmologist to join a growing clinically and academically active group of pediatric ophthalmologists. The candidate should have experience in all aspects of general pediatric ophthalmology. Participation in daily clinical activities, including outpatient visits, surgery, and hospital consultation, allows a diverse exposure to all areas of pediatric ophthalmology. In addition to the clinical responsibilities, the physician will participate actively in the education and training of ophthalmology residents and medical students from Thomas Jefferson University. Academic appointment is awarded by Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University based on established professorial guidelines.

- Anterior and posterior segment surgery capability
- Comprehensive diagnostic testing capabilities
- Challenging practice ranging from common pediatric ophthalmology problems to care of ophthalmologic problems in children with complex medical problems
- Diagnostic capabilities including OCT, ERG & VEP
- Experienced group of pediatric ophthalmologists and exposure to all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology
- Opportunity for Research and collaboration with other Pediatric subspecialists, the University of Delaware and other academic institutions.
- National and region-wide referral of patients
- Affiliation to major academic centers in the tristate area
- Opportunity to train the ophthalmology residents and medical students throughout the academic year.
