Customer Service Logistics Coordinator

Allied is currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting customers with all shipment matters.

Requirements

• Enters/maintains orders per customer requests and documents all changes, including returns, inventory exchanges, and expediting of orders.
• Resolves claims with carriers related to shipment issues for both customer orders and returns.
• Processes and corrects carrier billing adjustments resulting from customer shipments.
• Documents and resolves customer shipment matters in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Prepares necessary reports regarding carrier information and details.
• Advises customers on shipment changes and updates.
• Identifies improvement opportunities regarding carrier/customer communication.
• Manages and maintains processes, workflows, and carrier relationships with a focus on improving quality and efficiency.
• Facilitates necessary address corrections to ensure efficient future shipments.
• Serves as the department’s lead on export compliance and export training processes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 32lbs unassisted.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient typing skills required.

Education/Experience:

• Experience with CRM and ERP software preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Domestic and international logistics experience required.
