Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
The Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will be part of the Corporate Function and will report to the Executive Director of FP&A. This person will be responsible for supporting two strategic, highly-visible business lines, including planning and reporting of the full P&L of each line. This person will enable strategic decision-making through analysis, with a focus on financial planning, business partnering to distill key financial insights into usable data for the leadership teams, and collaborating with cross-functional leaders on project execution. Additionally, this person will balance the relationships, priorities, and needs of two General Managers and their respective teams, as well as the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Job Responsibilities
Perform analysis of financial and operational reports pertaining to bookings, revenue, cash flow, headcount and cost; highlighting key metrics, trends, opportunities and risks
Build sophisticated forecasting and budgeting models and synthesize outputs into concise presentations to drive executive decision-making processes
Drive strategic initiatives and special projects through a combination of business partnering, analytical insight and project management
Enable the growth strategy via identification, financial assessment, market research, and execution of potential merger & acquisitions (M&A) and investments
Deliver support to the annual budget, monthly forecasts and long-range planning
Monthly reporting and analysis of company results from both a financial and operational perspective for the executive team and business partners
Assist in preparation of presentations for CEO/CFO, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, etc.
Maintenance of list of key areas of business risk and concern, to help prioritize additional analysis, to guide senior management discussion about the business and to develop cross-functional projects to mitigate risk
People management responsibilities for an Associate, including coaching, mentoring and performance management
Typical Qualifications
8-10+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis experience
Experience managing a full P&L including bookings, revenue and expenses
Exceptional financial analysis background, advanced modeling skills and strong communication skills
Bachelors’ degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
