Product Delivery Manager
The Product Delivery Manager is responsible for facilitating the iterative development process (currently Scrum), ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles and practices. This role involves facilitating Scrum events, assist team members, removing impediments, managing the technical/support backlog, planning sprints and releases, providing post-launch support, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and refinements. Ensure Scrum events are productive and kept within the timebox.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to manage the technical/support backlog. Ensure backlog items are well-defined and ready for the team to work on. Track and report on the progress of backlog items and ensure timely resolution of support issues.
- Provide support for product-related issues and ensure timely resolution. Partner with the support team to address customer concerns and feedback. Implement best practices for product support and continuous improvement. Support third-party apps as needed. Provide deployment process support.
- Identify and remove obstacles hindering the team’s progress. Ensure the team has the necessary resources and support to complete work.
- Provides insights on Agile principles and practices with the team. Supports the team and members to become more self-organized, versatile, and enhance their skills and overall performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, relative field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in project management, preferably in a product development environment.
- Proven track record of managing successful projects required.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software preferred.
- In-depth understanding of product development life cycles required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Requires excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; strong leadership and team management abilities; capability to develop and execute long-term plans aligned with business goals; and ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
