Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. (NGSG), a premier provider of natural gas compression equipment renowned for its innovative products, cutting-edge design, and superior service, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist supports operations by managing parts identification, purchasing, and inventory control across various locations, while handling purchase order documentation and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to assess and fulfill inventory needs.
• Oversee inventory levels, handle requisitions for parts as requested by the manager, and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Check received items against purchase orders and ensure proper scanning and filing of documents.
• Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; restock and label shelves as needed.
• Process and approve invoices for payment.
• Assist accounting with purchase order reconciliation and audits.
• Document returns according to established procedures.
• Conduct quarterly inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Improve inventory management procedures.
• Stock and distribute supplies, equipment, and merchandise.
• Manage the return of equipment cores to suppliers for credits.
• Serve as a parts runner in the Midland/Odessa and Permian Basin areas.
• Assist the warehouse with receiving parts and support the yard supervisor as needed.
• Maintain designated supplies.

Requirements

 Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse parts management, including inventory and cycle counts.
• Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong math, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours and travel occasionally.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to tow a trailer.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills with warehouse staff, purchasing departments, and vendors.
• Highly organized and capable of working independently.
• Must be fluent in English; bilingual is a plus.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in gas compression equipment.
