The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing material logistics within the Zayo warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely processing of material requests, material receipts (both physical and within the Oracle accounting system), inventory control, and the administration of periodic cycle counts across Zayo inventory locations.
This position requires frequent lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages that typically weigh between 25 and 35 pounds and may weigh up to 70 pounds.
Responsibilities:
Receive inventory items using the Oracle financial/accounting software system.
Physically locate and organize inventory items.
Receive non-inventory items associated with RMAs.
Process decommissioned inventory items returned from the network.
Resolve receipt and invoice discrepancies in coordination with Accounts Payable (AP).
Process small-package and freight shipments through shipping vendors' online portals.
Maintain shipping logs and transaction details for all shipments.
Issue inventory items to projects manually or automatically through the financial/accounting system.
Stage, reserve, and allocate inventory items based on system requests.
Perform periodic inventory cycle counts.
Conduct annual Physical Inventory (PI) counts.
Create and maintain the bin-designation inventory storage system.
Research and resolve inventory variances.
Qualifications & Experience:
High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience required.
Previous experience in a warehouse and/or purchasing environment required.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid in-state driver's license required.
Where You Will Work
Onsite: This position is based in a standard office and warehouse environment and requires working onsite five days per week. Occasional travel may be required.
