The annual equivalent salary of $18.32 per hour is $38,105.60.
General Schedule
Position typically works 40 hours per week Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.
Position Overview
Evaluates degree requirements and certifies degrees. Communicates with personnel and students regarding status of graduation applications. Reviews student applications and determines eligibility for graduation candidacy. Reviews processed applications to determine graduation eligibility once prior semester in-progress grades are updated. Determines final eligibility for degree certification once final semester grades are processed. Runs degree audit reports and explains results to advisors and students. Communicates to students by letters, phone calls, e-mail, and personal contact about their graduation eligibility. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Duties

Enters approved substitutions, waivers, and exceptions into university degree audit system.

Reviews undergraduate student applications and determines eligibility for graduation candidacy.

Determines final eligibility for degree certification once final semester grades are processed.

Reviews transcripts and degree audit reports to troubleshoot and resolve GPA requirements, attributes, credit hours, and other degree requirement issues.

Responsible for maintaining a computerized transcript evaluation system for undergraduate credit, including data entry, quality control of data input to the system, determining transfer course equivalencies and updating the system to reflect new or altered course equivalencies and general education approved courses.

Reviews OSRHE CEP to ensure UCO’s articulation tables mirror the OSRHE CEP tables.

Evaluates Joint Service Transcripts for potential course equivalencies.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in job related field plus 6+ years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications/Experience Preferred:
Experience with university registrar functions or advising students on certification process. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of Ellucian Banner student information system or Degree Works degree audit system. Knowledge of degree programs, college requirements, and the general operation of UCO preferred. Ability to research and think critically about course descriptions and syllabi.
