We are seeking a Director, Learning and Development to oversee the newly created Acceleration practice within our Learning and Development team. This team is tasked with accelerating the capability of senior management, people managers, and team members at pivotal moments in their career journeys—whether they’re joining or rejoining Peloton, changing roles or functions, or stepping into new levels of management and leadership. This role will report into the Vice President, Global Talent who is looking for someone who is personally ready to clip in, make bold breakaways, uplift and strengthen our team members, and ultimately help us accelerate to new levels as a company. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Develop and lead Learning & Development initiatives that align with business goals and talent strategies, while managing a small but mighty team of Learning & Development professionals to meet the diverse needs of our team members.
  • Personally responsible for management and executive upskilling programs. Lead the development and delivery of core management programs, such as Leading@Peloton and our Leader Board Live monthly learning series. Partner with external vendors to identify supplemental programming that will enhance key transition moments across the management journey (transition to people manager, transition to head of function, transition to executive leadership).
  • Work with People Business Partners to design and deliver executive onsite/offsites tailored to functional leadership needs. Identify external facilitators as needed.
  • Oversee the team members who manage our onboarding, offboarding, and crossboarding practices, and support the implementation of core onboarding programs like The Warmup, Century Challenge, and our Century Club.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Global Talent, and the Core, Career, Common, and Content practice team to build a skills-based learning organization with a strong emphasis on bite sized engaging learning that occurs in the flow of work.
  • Partner with the Director, Performance to design and implement a coaching strategy that accelerates the growth of high-potential and high-performance team members, blending in-person, virtual, and AI based coaching experiences.
  • Continuously measure program success and adapt programming based on participant feedback to ensure maximum impact.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, but more importantly, help us lead the charge in creating new trends to position Peloton as a pacesetter and award-winning trailblazer in the Learning and Development space.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 10+ years of experience in human resources, corporate learning, and/or talent management, preferably in high-growth environments with diverse hourly, salaried, and global workforces.
  • Proven track record of developing global learning strategies, along with hands-on experience managing large and small scale programs focused on learning, development, and skill building.
  • Expertise in designing impactful instructional strategies and creating engaging curriculums using methodologies like ADDIE, SAM, and Agile for full course development life cycles.
  • Proven facilitation expertise in both virtual and in-person settings, catering to all levels of management and individual contributors.  This includes leading dynamic workshops, conducting engaging training sessions, and facilitating impactful team building activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. This includes creating clear, concise, and compelling content that drives understanding and action.
  • Marketer mindset with the ability to market programs effectively amidst the noise of constant emails and busy workdays. Proven creating compelling emails, newsletters, communications, and presentations.
