Are you an experienced Financial Analyst who is looking for your next career move? If so, Jabil needs a Senior Financial Analyst to work in Auburn Hill, MI. The qualified candidate will work on forecasts and reports monthly, quarterly, and annually for the Workcell. They will also assist in actual preparation as needed to understand results to forecast and support month-end close. The Senior Financial Analyst will be the subject matter expert in the resolution of business and financial issues for Business Development and Operations.

This role will be based on-site at our Auburn Hills, MI manufacturing facility.
What Will You Do?
Works under minimal supervision with output monitored periodically by Plant Controller.
Drive and assist with all forecasting activities including schedules and drives forecast reviews with BD and Ops e.g., revenue projections, IL/DL Meeting, BU forecast reviews, etc.
Prepare and update templates and files as necessary to prep for the forecasting process e.g., create benefits file, depreciation file, revenue projections file, IL/DL headcount file, TM1 templates preparation, etc.
Coordinate with BD and Ops to update final forecasts e.g., rate calculations, Capex entry, lease input, calculate Flexline, material handling, and SGA, update balance sheet days – AR, AP, DII.
Review forecasts for accuracy compared to Business Development and Operations expectations, as well as historical.
Prepare departmental, workcell, and plant-level Variance-to-Forecast reports.
Serve as a resource for Business Development and Operations in dissecting finances.
Prepare and update templates and files as necessary to prep for Month-end close e.g., salary file, DL file, square footage files, combining weekly payroll reports, DII, workcell shell, margin analysis, CILO file, Prism allocation, etc.
Post key accruals e.g., temp bills, freight, Duty/Tariffs, etc.
Reclass between cost centers e.g., outbound freight, building allocations, etc.
Update Margin Analysis file.
Cost Center reviews and adjustments.
Manage and execute staffing splits and charge-outs.
Manage and execute intercompany charge outs.
Run TM1 allocations.
Create functional and workcell variance files for review and updates by teams.
Month-end close reporting
Compile JOS review files and drives weekly finance JOS meeting with plant management (BD/Ops)
Other duties may be assigned.
How Will You Get Here?
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Experience:
3-5+ years in a Financial Analyst role, or other relevant professional experience is required.
At least 2+ years of experience in a lead role is preferred.
Big 4 and/or large public accounting firm experience is preferred.
Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
A solid understanding of Finance, Forecasting, and Accounting principles is required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and self-editing skills are required.
Advanced Excel skills and SAP (Cognos and TM1/PRISM) knowledge is required.
Strong presentation skills are required.
