JOB OVERVIEW
The Sales and Marketing Intern contributes to The Cloudveil’s goal of providing lasting memories and transformational experiences for its guests. Whether they are attending a meeting or participating in a hotel activity on the rooftop terrace, the Sales and Marketing Intern will ensure exceptional service and unique touches.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Makes VIP reservations and communicates through Opera comments and alerts
· Reaches out to luxury agents to arrange personalized amenities for our guests
· Sends Luminous pre-arrival confirmation letters
· Arranges daily and weekly calendars of events to communicate to all departments of the Hotel
· Prepares for site visits by checking meeting rooms, arranging take-away gifts, inspecting guest rooms and sending site alerts to all departments
· Collaborates with the sales team as they curate events geared toward elevating the guest experience and the spirit of community and connection to Jackson
· Conducts tours of the property with meeting planners, agents, and potential clients
· Assists with updating collateral, PowerPoint presentations and websites as needed
· Assists with social media postings by taking photos, reels, etc.
Requirements
- ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-years college or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage time effectively, handling multiple projects at a time and meeting deadlines
- Process excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Be an active team player and ability to collaborate across teams
- Must read, write and speak the English language effectively
- Flexible schedule during high business volumes, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
