People Operations Business Partner

The People Operations Business Partner will serve in a high-level strategic and critical thinking role in support of People Operations decisions centered around talent, performance, succession, employee conflict, and strategic planning. The People Operations Business Partner will collaborate with the Director of People Operations and Field RVPs to conceive, design, and implement solutions that enhance employee capabilities across all levels. They will lead efforts such as performance management, pulse surveys, and leadership development. This position will drive change and create an adoption environment centered around AEG values and People First culture.
The People Ops Business Partner will support AEG’s locations in the Southeast, operating primarily in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) Zone.

Maintains knowledge of federal and state legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of our business as it relates to People Operations (Human Resources)

Attempts to reduce legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance using performance management, behavioral interviewing, leadership development of others, and conflict resolution methodologies

Positively and gracefully serves Field Leaders by offering leadership coaching and mentoring

Serves as a consultant to field management on organization-wide people-related issues

Assesses and anticipates Talent needs and advises field leadership on hiring top Talent

Conducts effective, concise, thorough, and bias-free, objective investigations

Offers consultative mentoring centered around proactively bringing teams to improved communication and collaboration

Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business's financial position relative to Talent Management needs

Provides HR-related training to field managers as needed

Conducts engagement surveys and focus groups, and articulates cultural points using analytics

Serves as the primary point of contact for all HR-related duties in new acquisitions, including delivering presentations during Town Halls

Provides guidance to employees with leave of absence requests, including FMLA

Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues

Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning

Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications
3 years as an HR Business Partner, or 5 -7 years in a Senior Generalist role or Senior Organizational Development Role
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Ability to build relationships that foster trust and credibility
Excellent coaching and feedback skills
Solid experience consulting with executives and managers on real-time problems
Ability to work on different types of work rapidly; ability to pivot quickly
Ability to work remotely with minimum supervision
Skilled presenter, facilitator, and communicator
Ability to design and execute on projects
Ability to travel 50% to 75% if needed
