Bilingual Front Office Clerk - Float (East Region) - Job Overview
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and ensure they are routed appropriately to the right team members.
- Perform client intake, greet patients warmly, and notify staff of their arrival.
- Accurately enter patient information into databases to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Support the volunteer coordinator in managing volunteers effectively.
- Follow appointment scheduling procedures and cash handling protocols with precision.
- Keep the clinic lobby neat, organized, and welcoming for patients and visitors.
- Process lab results as directed by the Practice Manager to support patient care.
- Actively participate in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance clinic services.
- Promote teamwork and effective communication among colleagues.
- Ensure culturally sensitive and language-appropriate care for all patients.
- Encourage continuity of care by supporting patients with self-management education.
- Attend required safety and education training programs to stay informed and prepared.
- Operate clinic equipment safely and report any safety concerns promptly.
- Follow infection control protocols diligently to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the clinic.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice
- Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients at once
- Efficient and accurate data-entry skills
- Computer literacy and multi-line phone or switchboard experience.
- Basic knowledge of math, alphabetical and numerical filing
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
