The Venice Family Clinic is a community health center that provides quality health care to people in need. Our physicians are committed to the populations we serve and to the mission of the clinic. Under the leadership of the Chief Medical Officer, the Inglewood Site Clinical Director provides the majority of their primary care sessions at the Inglewood Health and Wellness Center, evaluating, treating, and making appropriate diagnostic and specialty referrals for our patients. The Inglewood site Clinical Director is an integral part of the clinic staff, providing leadership and expertise on medical questions and solving issues related to operational and clinical services.  In addition to staff physician duties, the position will involve leadership of the site’s clinical staff, including direct supervision of some of the physicians and mid-level providers who practice primarily at the Inglewood site.  Included in the leadership position includes attending coordinating team meeting, running site meetings, facilitating change and innovation projects at the site, and helping the staff resolve patient complaints. Because the Venice Family Clinic has robust volunteer and medical training programs, the Inglewood Clinical Director has a unique role as a liaison to the affiliated residency programs, and providing support to volunteer medical providers.  This responsibility includes providing a positive role model, ensuring that volunteers understand Venice Family Clinic procedures and providing continuity of care for patients.
