Technical Program Manager II, Software Release, Android CoreOS

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 2 years of experience in program management.
  
• Experience in managing programs across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Experience in Software Release Management with focus on release tooling and metrics.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will use your technical expertise to plan complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for Release Management of Mainline. You will work closely with Software Engineers, Technical Program Managers and Engineering Productivity (Build and Quality) to ensure Mainline releases are launched and completed on time with no negative impact on our user base (all Android Q+ devices). You will need excellent communication skills to be the point of contact for all questions about schedules, quality, and progress updates. You will be responsible for identifying and managing risks, making sound judgements about quality, and stopping (or speeding up) production at the right time.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
