Job Description
Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a Senior Capabilities Manager with the right combination of skillsets in intelligence collection operations, business operations, and emerging technologies in order to modernize and build the next generation of Open Source Intelligence capabilities. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for product improvement through market research and vendor outreach and will support product roadmap development to include codifying capability gaps, conducting technical capability and risk assessments, and developing end user pilot programs. Your efforts will result in innovative and lasting change while making recommendations that result in efficient use of government spending and reducing risk exposure.
Responsibilities
- Implements processes for vendor evaluation to include requirements development, market research, and pilot test program that support client procurement decisions.
- Works with key industry stakeholders to understand and develop requirements, build partnerships and provide technology solutions.
- Manages vendor-client relations and engagements to ensure effective communication and expectation management.
- Develops and implements a product vision and strategy.
- Provides thought leadership and technical support to emerging capability exploration.
- Daily interaction with industry IT leaders and IC/DoD Partners to assist in solution development.
Here’s what you need:
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with DoD, including 5 years of experience developing new methods and capabilities to drive organizational objectives, completing analysis and assessments of programs in order to assess gaps, overlaps, and duplications of effort.
- Experience working with emerging technologies and capabilities and aligning them to use cases and requirement.
- Ability to communicate effectively through regular updates to leadership team and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with open source research and analytic tools and vendors. Ability to assess and measure analytic tool utility and performance.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisitions, Publicly Available Information (PAI) regulations, and Intelligence Oversight.
- Understanding of basic cloud infrastructure services and networking.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with other cloud service providers
- Understanding of cybersecurity threats and best practices
Security Clearance:
- Active TS w/ SCI eligibility US Government security clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
