Pay Range: $18.00–$20.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: This is a full-time position working 30 hours a week. Working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, full day and half a day on Saturday. 

As the Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our building and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and operating smoothly. You’ll perform ongoing preventative maintenance, respond to maintenance needs and emergencies, and support residents and staff with facility-related requests. You’ll work both independently and alongside outside vendors when needed.

What You’ll Bring:
 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with HVAC
• 3-year experience in general maintenance (Assisted Living experience preferred, but not required)

• Knowledge in key maintenance areas, including:

  • Plumbing: fixtures, drains, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.

  • HVAC: heat pumps, refrigeration, and general HVAC operation

  • Electrical: wiring, voltage, and amperage basics

  • Mechanical systems: general knowledge of engine and equipment operation

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations)

• Reliability and a proactive mindset

• Willingness to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular hours
