Job Description  

The Oracle IT MDM business analyst supports activities focusing on Master Data Management, but is not limited to that scope. The role will support the integration and ongoing support of Informatica 360 MDM with Oracle EBS 12.2.10 and Agile PLM 7.3 These environments have provided a backbone to the organization for more than 25 years. Beyond Oracle and Agile PLM, the organization is also heavily invested in cloud applications from Oracle and other providers.. IT Business Analysts collaborate with business stakeholders to design, implement, and support standard and custom solutions. Activities that this role performs includes, but is not limited to:

  • Procurement of systems, services, and hardware
  • Directing the work of external providers
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues with assistance from external partners including but not limited to 1st party support
  • Act as liaison between internal customers and external partners
  • Arrange and support the rollout of software improvements and lifecycle upgrades
  • Orchestrate and communicate the rollout of new features and capabilities
  • Interact with network security teams
  • Communicate with domain specific subject matter experts throughout the enterprise
  • Work with business stakeholders to decompose abstract problem statements into actionable work items
  • Elicit requirements and product features from non-technical teams through workshops, interviews, use case demonstrations, pilots, etc
  • Assist in generation and interpretation of reports and analytics
  • Infrequent but possible support of systems and teams outside of normal working hours
  • Flexibility to support teams/suppliers in disparate time zones

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • 5-10 years professional experience related to Master Data Management, either in a  consulting, implementation, and/or IT support perspective
  • Hands on ownership of Informatica 360 MDM – Customer, Product, and Supplier domains
  • Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2

Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and supporting an Informatica 360 cloud based MDM system integrated to an ERP, preferably Oracle EBS
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management best practices including system setup, workflow, error handling, and administration
  • Ability to define and describe bi-directional integrations between Informatica 360 and ERP systems
  • Experience with parts of Oracle’s EBS, specifically Customer and Product definitions
  • Strong English communication skills – both written and oral, ability to influence
  • Comfortable in addressing large, diverse groups
  • Highly organized and transparent
  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work. 
  • Can learn and apply new information or skills.
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.
