At Atwell, your role as a Project Surveyor is central to our success. You’ll drive the execution of diverse and complex projects, working alongside a collaborative team of office and field professionals. Our broad range of projects in residential and commercial land development, as well as renewable energy, will enable you to expand your expertise and make a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers to contribute your insights during the proposal and planning phases, helping define project scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Project Management: Work closely with Project Managers to keep projects on track, ensuring adherence to scope and budget.
- Technical Expertise: Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software daily to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Quality Control: Review and adjust survey field calculations to ensure accuracy.
- Effective Communication: Maintain strong communication with internal teams, contractors, inspectors, and team leaders to foster a dynamic and productive environment.
- Professional Growth: Participate in paid training, industry conferences, and networking events to further your career development.
Qualifications:
- Expert Knowledge: Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collection, Legal Descriptions, Plan Interpretations, and Real Estate Documents.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Trimble equipment and Trimble Business Center is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Field Experience: Previous experience working in the field on a survey crew is highly desirable.
- Certifications: LSIT or PLS certification is preferred.
