About the role

Under the direction of the Sr. Executive Director, the Philanthropy Assistant provides a full range of administrative support to the Foundation team, including support for donor cultivation and stewardship activities and donor database input. This position will be responsible for overseeing department specific gift administration and stewardship programs which includes gift entry, mail processing, check deposits and all donor correspondence.  The position also oversees all aspects of board and committee meetings including coordination, communications, collateral and minutes for all meetings along with all fundraising reports and data queries.  The position provides advanced, diversified and confidential administrative support to the Sr. Executive Director and to the Board of Trustees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
    • 4 years of working in a fast paced environment
  •  5 years successful administrative track record in a fund development environment
  • Demonstrated experience working within time-intensive, results-oriented environment preferably a hospital, academic or nonprofit research organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Campaign experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
