Description
J&S Inspections Company is hiring a full-time Distribution Construction Coordinator with a focus on civil construction in the Killeen/Temple/Hutto area. Some travel may be needed.
Job Duties
- Coordinates contract resources to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely execution of construction and maintenance tasks at job sites
- Acts as a liaison between ONCOR electric delivery and various contractor resources
- Fields contacts from contract crews regarding all types of issues and concerns
- Ensures adequate construction resources are available to meet project requirements and initiates the appropriate processes to obtain additional resources when necessary
- Requests material kits and collaborates with Material Coordinators to confirm the availability of required materials for construction activities.
- Maintains accurate records by updating the status of all construction activities in the database daily
- Communicates project status to appropriate parties as needed to ensure timely and accurate information sharing
- Collaborates with various work groups to meet customer deadlines while fostering positive working relationships

Requirements/Skills
Ability to manage multiple projects across a wide geographic region
Knowledge of underground and overhead Distribution Construction practices
Basic computer skills with preference in Outlook, Word, Excel, and other tech platforms
Good driving record.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
OSHA 30 preferred
