Jr. Camp Manager
New Life RanchAbout the role
We are a team of men and women who love Jesus and desire to see His name made known, not our own. We'll be the first to admit we aren't perfect. It's great then that God doesn't require us to be perfect when He uses us!
Our mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equipping believers for ministry drives everything we do. So, no matter the position, everyone impacts and drives our mission forward. We are a highly relational staff who knows how to take breaks, get to know each other, and have fun while working hard together. Our heart as we pursue our mission is to serve God and those around us well. That means our guests and campers, but it also means each other.
We are:
- Mission driven
- Relational
- Development minded
- Flexible
- Fun!
About the role:
We are currently hiring our male Jr. Camp Manager.
As a Jr. Camp Manager you will help create a fun, engaging, Biblically based overnight program for 2nd through 6th graders at Frontier Cove. As a part of the Summer Programs Team, you will recruit, hire, train, and supervise teenage/college students to passionately proclaim the Gospel to our campers, and help implement our program. You will have the opportunity to take part in the life change that happens in both your campers and summer staff each year as God works through the program, theme, and ministry each year.
Our desire to have a male and female team leading this area of ministry is to better hire, support, and mentor summer staff, as well as to be able to handle gender-sensitive issues that may arise with our campers. The division of work and specific responsibilities is divided between the two managers based on gifts, talents, personality and experience.
About you:
- You are passionate about the mission of NLR, and specifically ministry to 2nd-6th graders, and college-age students.
- You exhibit Christlike character and professionalism in your interactions with others.
- You love to have fun!
- You are an excellent team player, who enjoys collaboration and working in a team environment.
- You are able to juggle multiple priorities at once.
- You can speak both confidently and professionally with parents and other adults.
- You relate to college-age students well, and highly enjoy managing and coaching teenage/college students in their work and development.
