About the role

Reporting into the Network Infrastructure People team, the Manufacturing People Partner will be responsible for the creation, supervision implementation and administration of HR programs. They will provide management and employees with a full range of human resources services across all functional areas including recruiting, employee relations, compensation, employment policies and practices, performance management, learning and development, and employment law issues.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for all manufacturing groups and provide strategic, operational and administrative support as needed. Analyze data, surface issues, and trends related to client groups.
  • Recruiting: Provide input and direction with regards to the recruiting efforts and ensure coordination of efforts with the staffing organization and execution against the business staffing needs to attract world class talent. Participate in special recruiting events to represent the company and manufacturing groups. 
  • HR Program rollout: Deliver HR Programs as part of overall HR delivery team for assigned client groups (Performance Management, Annual Bonus/Salary review, Goals and Objectives, Culture Initiatives)
  • Employee Relations: Assist with conducting confidential investigations and coordinate follow-up actions. Address performance and quality issues with shift supervisors in a timely manner. 
  • Respond to inquiries regarding the organization’s processes, policies, procedures, and programs. Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently and provide direction to supervisors and managers.
  • Distribute communication of employee required deliverables and deadlines, follow-up as appropriate.
  • Lead or support various special projects as required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: concise, articulate, and confident.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment with competing priorities with ability to remain focused.
  • Drives results and is solution oriented.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity with a high degree of professionalism in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills.
  • Well-developed decision making, and problem-solving skills.


     
  • Significant experience as Human Resources Generalist or as a People Partner required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent combination of experience and/or education is required. PHR preferred.
  • Experience with California employment law required.
  • Experience with global high tech and manufacturing environments desired.
  • Knowledge and experience in HR programs and practices.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite.
