JOB SUMMARY:
Leadership responsibility for a significant program or functional area in a department, institute, or division that has organizational impact. Identifies and implements value-added opportunities focused on both near and long-term operational success and service line growth for the department. Responsible for coordination of activities that support internal operations, strategic execution, and maximize margin, efficiency, quality, and customer service opportunities. Operational responsibility for clinical and support services as assigned. Contributes to the development and completion of departmental goals and projects and promotes the activities of all Weight Management Center programs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Master's Degree required in human services, business, or healthcare administration. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience preferable in the healthcare setting
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and active licensure by the NC Board of Dietetics/Nutrition required. Continuing education requirements must also be met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the overall administration and coordination of the day-to-day delivery of key Weight Management Center functions such as administrative and scheduling support, data management, retail, vendor and contract management, and customer experience
- Provides day-to-day leadership developing and managing financial, operational, and strategic goals and objectives through budget preparation, appropriate business plans, and optimizing resources
- Oversees all program initiatives and ensures the program is outcome focused and effectively marketed
- Makes strategic decisions based on analysis and goals and objectives of assigned program
- Identifies and implements value-added opportunities focused on both near and long-term operational success and service line growth for the department
- Participates in strategic planning as part of the leadership team and assures an effective method for evaluating programmatic impact in all areas of supervision
- Acts as a steward of financial resources by allocating resources in a manner that optimizes efficiency and productivity
- Oversees the selection, development, evaluation and performance of direct reports and provides leadership to improve their effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity
- Facilitates communication and collaboration with internal and external partners
