The Wistar Institute has openings for Post-Doctoral Fellows to join the laboratory of Dr. Yulia Nefedova. The Nefedova laboratory focuses on understanding the mechanisms involved in regulation of tumor progression and therapy resistance by tumor microenvironment.
We are seeking highly motivated post-doctoral fellows to work on the intersection of basic and translational research in immuno-oncology, focusing on the role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells in solid cancers. The successful candidates will have experience in isolation and analysis of myeloid cell functions, strong hands-on skills in basic cellular and immunological methods, including multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, cell killing assays, experience with analysis of human samples, and extensive experience with mouse cancer models.
A PhD in immunology or cancer biology is required. Candidates should have at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication.
